"I love using the talent God has given me to give back to His children. I am able to worry less, laugh more, and have the freedom to be silly. I love kids' authenticity, their energy and their curiosity in wanting to know more about God. When I see that, it promotes a child-like faith in my own life."
GaoZoua Lee was led into Children’s Ministry by her passion and love in serving and saving little souls. She started out in RiverKids as the Creative Assistant for two years before stepping into the role of Co-Director, focusing on our Little Kids (birth-K).
GaoZoua is currently attending North Hennepin Community College furthering her education toward a degree in Child Development.
She is married to John Lee, and they've served together in various ministries here at RiverLife. During her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family. She enjoys playing with her nieces, nephews, and little brother Aaron in many rounds of hide and seek. She sponsors a five-year-old girl in the Philippines through the organization Food for the Hungry.
She also enjoys being active and eating healthy. In 2017 she ran her first half-marathon with RiverLife and Pastor Greg as their coach. She has the healing gift of massage, which she uses to help kids, adults, and the elderly.
