Life in the River
God desires a deep, abundant, and thriving life for his followers. One way this is represented in Scripture is through the metaphor of a life-giving river. All throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation , the river is a powerful symbol of God’s presence and the life that can come when we firmly plant ourselves in Him. In the river, you can live refreshed, happy, and satisfied.
Life is hard. It’s easy to end up feeling worn out, empty, and dry. But God desires for you to have a deep, abundant, and thriving life. Join us for three weeks in September and discover what it means to live Life in the River.
Did you know that God desires for you to have a deep, abundant, and thriving life? If that’s really true, then why do we feel so dry and empty sometimes? Pastor Greg shares how a vision of the River of God in Ezekiel 47:1-12 paints a picture of what it looks like to be refreshed by God. (9/7/14)
What makes you happy? Family? Friends? Tall, poofy hats? Every day we’re faced with decisions, some of which lead to joy and blessing while others to sadness and pain. Pastor Greg shows how Psalm 1 can help us choose the way of blessings and happiness. (9/14/14)
Pastor Greg answers questions from the audience, including:
- What do I do when I read the bible and I don't understand? (0:55)
- How do I show Gods love to my ghetto friends? (4:27)
- What about having a few drinks with the non followers of Christ? (12:00)
...and many more. (9/14/14)

Pang Foua Yang Rhodes, Spiritual Life Director, discusses John 4 to answer the questions: What is this living water? How do you get it? (9/21/14)
