Missions Sunday 2018
ft. Charles & Ruth Amoh

Special guest speakers Charles & Ruth Amoh share lessons learned from 2 years as Envision Site Coordinators in Chicago and also what missions could look like for a church such as RiverLife. We're already doing so much in the local community. Now imagine extending that same thing throughout the globe. (10/22/17)

Charles and Ruth Amoh have been married for 5 years and have spent the majority of our lives living in Minnesota and Wisconsin. They are passionate about diversity, mentoring and missions. They answered a call to Chicago as the Envision Site Associate Coordinators in January 2015. They hosted short-term mission trips and partnered with local ministries on the ground. They had the privilege of speaking life into the next generation of church leaders as they prepared life-changing trips and internships for those seeking more of God. They later returned home to Saint Paul, MN in December of 2016 to have their son, Patrick.

Charles has 11 years of youth ministry experience, four of which were at the RiverLife building (with the previous church, Faith Alliance.) He has been to 11 different countries outside the United States on missions trips and cultural immersion trips. Charles is currently working as a Resident Director at University of Northwestern St. Paul and he is also the Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Families at Crossroads Alliance Church. In his spare time he likes working on gardening, drinking coffee and going on dates with his wife.

Ruth is passionate about racial reconciliation and justice ministries. She has mentored young women as they seek God and grow in their faith in Him. Ruth has plans to get her masters in Marriage and Family Counseling in the future. She is fun and bubbly and brings a smile to each person she meets. She has an attitude of hospitality and loves to feed people delicious food! She is currently working at Caribou Coffee and spending lots of her time caring for their son, Patrick.
