Sorry, we have to postpone the LEGO Derby due to complications in building the track. We need a little more time and warmer weather. So, we'll be rescheduling it for Spring/Summer.
Calling all LEGO Master Builders! Create the ultimate LEGO car and race your friends. Open to everybody—kids and adults.
Cost: $7 per car.
Each registration is for 1 car. You may have to register multiple times if your family has additional races.
With each registration, you get a basic LEGO car kit: 1 baseplate (16x6), 4 axles, 4 rims, and 4 tires.
You can pick up the car kits at church on Sundays (either campus) or make arrangements to pick up Tues - Fri during regular business hours.
RULES
You must use the baseplate, axles, rims, and tires provided.
You cannot make the car wider than the wheels in order to fit on the track.
Maximum car weight shall not exceed 5.0 oz.
Additional Instructions will be sent out to registrants
SCHEDULE
If you have your own LEGO bricks…
Build your car at home. Races began at 4pm. Arrive early to register.
If you do not have your own bricks…
Arrive at 3pm to build your car(s) with a table full of LEGO bricks provided. (Just remember to return them after the races.)
